Summer One

Beatrix Potter

Our first topic this term is Animals. We learnt about Beatrix Potter in History and recreated her illustrations in Art using watercolour paints. 

In Science, we looked at animal classification and animal diets. We then used model magic to create animal sculptures. 

Summer Two

In the summer term, we have been exploring Stories! We have been reading many traditional fairy tales. 

Trip to Hobbledown

What a fantastic time we had at Hobbledown Farm!

Thank you to all the parents that joined us, making it possible to go. We were able to explore the different play areas. We were risk-takers, having a go at climbing into and exploring equipment. We were kind and took turns.

We showed respect towards others to and from on the bus journey. We showed respect to each other, including fellow visitors, and to the animals of course. One highlight was feeding the Lemurs some Willow leaves that they thoroughly enjoyed. The Meer cats also entertained us by being brave and saying hello.
